At the July 13, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting, the Charter Township of Breitung proudly extended its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the members of Carpenter Clash American Legion Post 363 by presenting the organization with a Resolution of Appreciation in recognition of its dedication, volunteerism, and outstanding service to our community.

Post Commander Lewis Adams and Post Adjutant Gary Chapman accepted the resolution on behalf of the organization, representing the many veterans and volunteers who have faithfully served both our nation and our local community.

Throughout the years, the Carpenter Clash American Legion Post 363 has exemplified the highest ideals of citizenship, patriotism, and selfless service. Through their generous volunteer efforts, they have helped preserve and honor our Quinnesec cemetery, ensuring that the sacrifices of our nation's veterans are remembered with dignity and respect. Their continued support of military veterans and their families demonstrates a profound commitment to those who have served our country.

Beyond their direct service to veterans, their presence and participation in community events have strengthened our township and fostered a spirit of unity, pride, and civic responsibility. Their members consistently answer the call to serve, giving freely of their time, talents, and resources to improve the lives of others.

This Resolution of Appreciation reflects the deep respect and gratitude of our residents for their many years of dedicated service and their steadfast commitment to the principles upon which our nation was founded.

We thank them for their continued leadership, patriotism, and devotion to our community.
